Has Anyone Ever Really Seen a Star Form?
Although we may see a light getting brighter out there through the Hubble Telescope, it doesn't prove anything. There may have been a star that supernovaed 100 years ago that was blocking the view of another star or millions of stars that were behind it. There also may be a star that is beginning to supernova and it looks like a new star coming into existence.
There is absolutely no way for anyone to prove that a new star has come into existence. Some scientists would say that if 20 stars exploded it can make a new one. Of course there is no way to prove that and if a star did form through gravitation or some other means by 20 stars exploding, that further proves evolution is false. If you have to lose 20 to gain 1, at some point you are left with nothing. I would have to call that de-evolution and proof that the Second Law of Thermodynamics is at work.
