Prophecies Fulfilled
Crucifixion or Crucifiction
The death Jesus historically died from, crucifixion, was predicted around 1,500 years before crucifixion was ever thought of or done to anyone. How can any prophet have such super-knowledge to know something that didn't even exist? The Christian's answer is that God is omniscient (all-knowing) of past, present, and future. He knows the number of hairs on your head. The prophet is merely the one giving the message inspired by the Holy Spirit.
The crux of Christianity is based upon the death, burial, resurrection and ascension of the coming Christ (Savior, Messiah). Jesus predicted his on type of death, when He said, "If I be lifted up, I will draw all men unto me." Many interpret this as to meaning that if we praise Him, men will come to God. This is incorrect because the rendering reads ALL MEN yet we know ALL MEN don't come to the Lord. He said He would DRAW all men. Men will look at the crucifixion and as to WHY He was crucified, and will have to make a choice as to receive His sacrifice that He made for them or to reject it in unbelief.
The death was predicted as said above way before it ever happened
