Carrying the cross on Monday, December 31st in downtown Youngstown, Ohio at the New Year's Eve 2007 “First Night” Party. It was my first time out carrying the cross and doing street evangelism with my buddies Mike and Bob. They called me a NEWBIE. I normally do door-to-door evangelism but this was AWESOME! JUST AWESOME! It was easy evangelism because people see the cross and stop and talk to you. The people are very curious. The big wooden cross works like a MAGNET!
Well it was an amazing night to say the least. I shared the gospel with several people and signs and wonders took place. Praise God!
This couple asked for prayer for healing. His wife had a sprained ankle and he had scoliosis of the spine. When they walked up to me I noticed her limping and him complaining about pain in his back. Then, we all held hands and prayed for healing for this couple.  About 20 minutes later, they tracked me down and he said he had no pain in his back and she was walking perfectly fine with no limp. God is amazing! By His stripes, we were healed!

Also, one other woman stopped and talked with me about her parents - how she has a lot of pain and anger towards them because she was abused as a child by both of them. She wanted to know if it was a sin to have emotions like this about her parents because is says in the Bible “To honor thy father and mother”. She was feeling really guilty about being angry with her parents. I told her that it is not a sin to be angry but that it is a sin to hate. I gave her the example of Jesus being angry with the moneychangers in the temple for their sins. We prayed together for God to bring closure to her with this anger she has towards her mom and dad and the Lord to bring all three of them into communion with one another. It's amazing how people just open up to you.
Also, Bob was talking to this couple that just got out of church. This couple was so happy that we were out doing this in Youngstown. The four of us were standing there talking and an anointing just came over Bob like a wind from a storm. It was awesome. I didn't even know Bob felt that anointing  till the next morning when he mentioned it to me when I was talking to him on the phone.
Well I could write more but I have sauerkraut and pork on the table and I need to pack for the road tomorrow. So Happy New Year and God Bless!
