What kind of reaction do you get from people when you carry the cross? It's obviously a conversation-starter and a magnet.
People come up to us, come out of their businesses, take pictures, etc.
it's amazing what is happening. Mike and I had the best time of our life last night at the ice rink and on parkman road.

Here is a word that I got about 6 months ago. It gives me hope with the American Church.
I just found out recently that the Southern Baptists made a comment that if we take the Bibleliterally, than only 10-15% of people in their denomination are truly born-again. That made me think, what does that say about some of the other denominations.
I’m raising up some new Spurgeons, Tozers, Finneys, and Whitfields who will bring purity back into the body. Correction will be brought where the Word has been corrupted. Many unsaved WITHIN the church will come to TRUE repentance. Many ministers will come to repentance and be filled with a new zeal that has purpose and direction. I am bringing correction as I did to the 7 churches in Asia.

There is an awesome pamphlet by Finney called True and False Conversion. Mike and I are finding out that what Finney said was true. People are telling us that they are born-again, saved, or Christian but have no idea why this is so. I really believe they prayed a "simple prayer" to get some free frie insurance but didn't read the fine print about turning from their sins, or counting the cost, etc. etc. They think they are saved but are on their way to Hell.
How can one put their faith in Christ's sacrifice if they don't even realize they are a sinner? You see a light bulb go off in people's eyes when we give the gospel the way Jesus did. It makes sense to them. Many people are putting their faith in "repeating a prayer" - not "I am a sinner, have mercy on me."
